Reward Systems
The implementation of a reward system can be beneficial to the classroom. It can promote good behaviours on an individual or community level.
Point System
This is an individual reward system. The teacher rewards points to students who have good academic performance or are displaying good behaviours. At the end of each term, the teacher will hold an auction and students can buy different items with the points they have accumulated.
Jar of Marbles
This is a classroom reward system, which will reward all students with a special activity when the jar is filled with marbles. At the end of the day, the class will debrief about how the day went. The teacher and students will use a scale to determine how many marbles should be awarded for the day. The jar will be filled faster if they spend good days.

MAKE LEARNING FUN!
But most importantly, learning needs to be fun!
For example, teachers can reinforce or present new vocabulary though word search and crosswords. Students learn how to spell the word and learn the definition as well!
Mathematics can be learned in the real world! Students can go outside on a scavenger hunt. They can learn about measurement, shapes, weight, etc!
